Yesterday I had an afternoon with my mum! She decided that it'd be nice to go into Mold for a mooch about, so we did!. When we arrived at the car park a guy stopped me to give me his ticket. I just love that we still have the oppertunity in some local car parks to pass on your ticket,. It's such a small thing! But one I'd hate to see get lost with the new systems of reg input. It's a basic human right I think we should all get to keep! While there we met 3 Liverpudlians on their trip out, and typical of Liverpudlians they stopped for a chinwag! the convo swayed from loggerheads to welsh carrier bags being 5 or 10p each, so mum offered them one of her 10p bags to put their shopping in while they were out. A free ticket for us and a free bag for them.. It's nice how karma balances.. We walked into Mold & on the way up I spotted the first honeysuckle I've seen in ages. Mum told me that they used to grow it under their bedroom window years ago when her and my dad were just married an had it there for years.. Funny I'd never really noticed that.. We went in and out the charity shops and stalls then headed up to Mococo, we love a look, they always have absolutely beaut jewellery there. I've now spotted a little gift for my hubby Sion and have ideas for mums birthday coming up! I never expected to come away with a bit of treasure myself.. the ring that I've loved seriously so, so much for about the last 3 years! It's soo beautiful.. a twisted silver ring finding with a square etched mother of pearl, anyone that knows me knows that I love that stone. I have done literally since I was a kid where i'd collect shiny mother of pearl shell packs from Boots. . But that's it,. That's my family for you.. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful and generous parents. It started off as an early christmas present, when home it suddenly turned into an early one they insisted that I have now! I'm not gonna lie to you, there wasn't much of an argument! Wow!.. I will absolutely treasure it forever and with it remember our special 'lucky' afternoon together. :) I spotted a cup on the market & bought it as a little gift for her too, The girl on the stall told us that they hand print them themselves & then fire them all in their garage. We are massive fans of small local businesses, and support them hands down where we can! My family are in business, it's hard work with long hours but can be so rewarding at the same time.. your not just a number! And the team become more like family! Mum chose the honeysuckle cup print design.. So we both came away with treasures of different kinds.. We were given treasure by a stranger and also gave a little bag back in return. Everyday is full of treasures, you just don't know what's going to fall into your lap. it's the little and the big that makes the world a special place!.. Family time, treasures.. It's all the same in the grand scheme of things, and means the world! Wishing all of you that read this, treasures of different kinds find their way to you and your loved ones. X Get busy, digging for treasures.. YJ
