I've just found this on my phone.. Yes I've started writing notes to myself! Je wizz.. If you don't like, Then don't read IT!!

Dear the future Yvette Louise Jones,

don't forget to be happy, loving, passionate, energetic, keep learning, keep doing, push forward, don't EVER give up!!!

be who you were destined to be, and be around those that love you dearly. you couldn't feel pleasure without having pain, as there would be nothing to judge it against. there is always, yin & yang.. you have to hold your head up no matter which you experience so remember that nothing ever lasts forever, savour every sweet moment & memory and don't fret if you are going through the storm just hold on tightly no matter what & remember it wont last it'll pass & you will be stronger for it.

Remember that a rainbow comes after a storm & the sun will smile again.

have faith.

YJ

its easy sometimes to feel like your stuck & to have thoughts of "ah i wish i'd" i wish i'd studied harder at school and been sure of what i wanted to do then.. so that NOW i'd have it all sussed!! i'd be living in that big house with a dream kitchen, bathroom etc. etc. a double drive with a garden, maybe in the country! with a dog, (of course our cats) kids and family around. It sounds so stereotypically suburban!! but honestly, that with my husband is happiness for me. We all have these ideals (they'll always be people who criticise them or belittle them) but in school we were never quite prepared for the reality of! "up to the eyeballs in bills" "dreaming of having enough in the bank for work to be done on the car" which in turn gets me to my job that pays our "rent!" if you don't get on that waggon early ie. knowing what you want to do for the next 50-odd yrs of your working life, then you can find yourself playing catch up later on... But maybe this is all for a reason..? I higher purpose? I worked in my family business for around 14yrs where i had some great experiences which I'm forever grateful, but that's it, that is where it ended! It was never my dream to go into food, i enjoy nice quality food but thats where the love affair ends. Also with the massage courses i did, they were enjoyable at the time and i learnt to become a qualified masseuse with some advanced techniques which all help sometimes when giving Sion a back rub ;) all interesting.. but not what i could see myself doing for the "years of my life."

i think some people are just lucky, they find their niche sooner, easier, the moon was rising in Aries at the precise moment an ant saw a termite and said, "are we cousins?"

It just happened that way for them! don't beat yourself up! you don't need to impress anyone!!! anyone at all. the main thing i think, if your 19, 25, 35, 42 or even older, yes there is no age limit.

I don't like limitations. The most important thing is being happy! ahh you say, that old chestnut! yes happiness is THE most important thing to be happy working in a garden centre, a hotel or working as a cleaner.. a doctor a photographer, what ever!!! it is that makes "you" happy, so do it! because who cares about gaining a level 4 NVQ qualification if your ultimately miserable. Doing your job and that goes for anything, it's about having a reason you do it and that you chose that one out of thousands of other options.

Just because someone holds a degree, does NOT mean that they are more intelligent, it means that they decided on an option, found a niche they liked and connected with it enough to pour hours of study into it to gain an advanced knowledge of that subject. It is to be respected yes, but no more so than a farmer learning his field. Literally. Now I've gone off on a tangent. So it sounds simple but, enjoy what you do, esp when its a stepping stone to what you want to do! life.. none of us are getting out alive, so get busy doing everything you looove YJ x
