Here is the same Liverpool subway.. same time/date.. I was also stood in the same place! Just these two photos are from two different directions. To the Left is a guy deep into his book. He seems almost lost within its pages, his aura is one of imagination. Then to the right you have a girl who is streaming on her device with her headphones in.. (another girl behind her is also echoing that) So.. what do you think?? Maybe she’s streaming music.. education, or maybe she watching a YouTube vid or she has has a has kindle audio book on. Maybe she’s listening to a podcast while looking at her Instagram/Social media feeds? Who knows..?? So... Which one do you prefer? Or which do you relate too the most? (or want! to relate to the most) Out of the two, I can see the guy being so lost within the pages of his book, he looks so content and at peace. I could just watch him reading. He’s also focused on one thing.. his aura is big imagination. The reality is.. I actually relate more to the girl. I’m a BIG lover of my technology.. so I relate in an everyday way more to the girl. “listening to education/podcast/music” while multitasking on social media or reading online articles. But looking at her.. I also notice how “alert” she is.. she has a high level of focus. She is concentrating and she doesn’t replicate that deep calmness which the guy has! So thinking about it I can’t help but think that there is a certain level of inner relief and peace with just having (like the guy) that one thing you are focused on. While I LOVE the freedom that technology holds (I love the freedom of choice) we can- at a touch of a button go from “education to entertainment” and then back to “connection & inspiration” we literally have a library 📚 in the palm of our hands. But while that gives us all SO much.. do you think we loose that little bit of inner peace and tranquillity? That escapism into that “one thing” that one thing that we would otherwise give our attention to & get lost within? Maybe we should focus on the best of both worlds. 📚 & 📱 (Balance) #Balance 📖 📚 📲 🎧 #technology #book #newage #mood #phone #future #liverpool #social
