You know even though I know I shouldn't, I compare myself constantly to what's around me. It's a healthy part of progression I think! You need to compare yourself to get a feel for what you've attained so far and how your progressing. I'm not afraid to admit that when I started photography I automatically wanted to be not just good at it, but abso-fabulous! I remember opening up my new camera, an (I loved actually owning a dslr) but a little bitty part of me was actually a bit frustrated as I didn't know where the power lead plugged in! An that made me feel a bit frustrated.. as I knew that in that moment I was laid bare and completely new. An empty glass just waiting to be filled up with the knowledge & experience that was yet to come.
