Hi everyone! Let me introduce Tal Chohan.. Tiger photographer, Speaker & Photography Teacher. 🐯 Tal is based in Birmingham, UK and I has loved wildlife since he was a child. He says, "I have fond recollections of my holidays to India. Here I first encountered animals amongst the farm life in my family's villages, and back in the UK, school trips to Zoo's and nature reserves. As an adult, I have been entranced by wildlife photography for over a decade now." So I'm asking Tal some questions today so we can get to know what drives him and maybe even gain a few tips for taking good Tiger photography shots! If you love Tigers.. please read on! Hi Tal, so how did you first get into photographing Tigers?.. ⬇️ The raw experience that led me to walk this path, was my first tiger safari in 2008. Days of travelling through highly developed landscapes, leading to pristine wilderness and finally the jewel in the crown... a wild tiger, was an experience I still remember well and feel to this day. What inspires you the most about Tiger photography? ⬇️ The species themselves, the chance of making a difference to their long term survival through my work and the challenge of creating novel art. What is an important part of Tiger conservation you think is important for us to know about.. but it is actually less known or spoken about? ⬇️ Conservation of tigers.. is actually more about people than the tigers themselves. Is there a handy photography tip that you can share that can really help us to capture our best Tiger photos? ⬇️ Don’t worry about having the latest and greatest gear. Practice in Zoo’s, slow yourselves down in order to compose the photograph as well as you can, and if viewing a wild tiger, enjoy the moment with your own eyes as it will last a lifetime. So what's coming up next for you over 2019? ⬇️ A return to Tadoba Tiger reserve to seek out the tiger families we have located over time and worked with. A spring focusing on local wildlife. Thank you so much for sharing Tal! your work is beautiful and for those interested Tal's latest Blog post is an absolute delight to read! ⬇️ https://www.tcwildlifephotography.com/tracking-tigers I found his BLOG really informative. It gave me a real behind the scenes glimpse into what it's really like to photograph tigers in the wild. His added photography really helped to take you on a real visual journey. Other animals made a charming appearance too, showing the diversity of surrounding life while on reserve. 🐯✌ Bonus fo/fun* What Song/Album are you listening to right now? ⬇️ Anna of the North - Lovers Tell us a few herbs and spices that you just can't live without in the kitchen? ⬇️ Chilli, chilli powder, dried chilli, fresh chilli. Given the choice right now.. which would you swim in, an Ocean or a River and why? ⬇️ Ocean, the freedom What's a film we must make time for.. and why do you love it? ⬇️ A beautiful mind – inspirational and moving *How can we link in with you online/purchase prints or see you at a conference? www.tcwildlifephotography.com https://twitter.com/TCWildlifePhoto https://www.instagram.com/tigstergram/ Thank you Tal! 🐯

Time to jump off that fence. 👌
"Sitting on the fence. "Sitting on the fence" is a common idiom used in English to describe a person's lack of decisiveness, neutrality or hesitance to choose between two sides in an argument or a competition, or inability to decide due to lack of courage." 🦁 What major changes are you avoiding in your life?.. ◇ There really is no time like the present. Every single day it's a gift, so be fearless and jump off that proverbial "fence".. My change is to make positive changes which improve my life. Changes that enable me to live a full, rich life. And what I mean by that is a life which has fulfilling experiences... It's really not about material possessions. It's the relationships & experiences i am building that leave a mark. She's a leader. ♡ 📚 Maya Angelou; a poet, writer and civil rights activist. Her achievements are many! An honorable lady. Her quotes are so Real, they hit you right within your heart. "You alone are enough. You have nothing to prove to anybody." "LOVE LIBERATES. It doesn't just hold, that's ego. Love LIBERATES".♥️ ♡ 🐒 Dr Jane Goodall; an English primatologist and anthropologist. I've been taking a few more self portraits recently so people can get to know me a little better!
\n📸 \nWhen choosing a photographer to work with I think it's important to choose one that you actually gravitate towards. So it's important that you love their style as well as who they represent. So this is essentially an attract or repel exercise... right here! Like marmite.. love or hate, the real point is getting the right people to connect! \n💙 \nYou see I want to work with people who not only love my work but we would actually get on when we meet. I only have so many weekends in a year available! and so want to work with people who vibe with me! \n💕 \nIf you don't that's all good too!!!! We all have different tastes yea, I get it!. So yeah.. anyway! Finding people who genuinely LOVE my work, is my mission. Because essentially, they are my people! ✌ \n🌟 \nI'm so excited to create new work and develop creatively.. it's above everything else for me. It's a passion! Wanna connect further? \n⬇️ \nwww.yvettephotography.co.uk \nyjphotography@outlook.com \n(To book) \n◇ World Wildlife day 2019's theme is Life below water for people & planet.
Our impact on our marine life is under BIG scrutiny at the moment, what with tons of plastics being washed up on our beaches, in turn harming & even killing local marine life, birds and even large mammals. Marine life is essentially it's own world.. from the tiny plankton and shrimps to shellfish, fish and larger mammals. The ocean is diverse and plays a massive part on our health and well being #BLUEMIND as well as the health of the entire planet. "HAPPY World Wildlife Day 2019" Attached below are some pictures took underwater.. from plastic pollution to my dog Suki & also.. my first ever living thing! Can i get a MASSSSSSIVE cheer for my Shrimp Photo! ;) Thank You! X "On 20 December 2013, at its 68th session, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 3 March, the day of signature of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), as UN World Wildlife Day to celebrate and raise awareness of the world’s wild animals and plants. \\nThe UNGA resolution also designated the CITES Secretariat as the facilitator for the global observance of this special day for wildlife on the UN calendar. World Wildlife Day has now become the most important global annual event dedicated to wildlife." |
