Here are a few shots from the weekend. "a Winter Shoot" with Jake & Zakk :)
It had just been raining & was also freezing cold! but they did fantastically. It was a welcome that their mum Sandra brought a hot flask of hot-choc! Both aspiring young actors, little Zakk is already staring in the new Avengers movie which is due for release in a couple of months & Jake has been doing some cbeebies work! Both of them, yet have their whole lives ahead of them! Wow.. I wish them both every future success!. YJ

Turning a fresh new page & striding into 2015. Blessed to still be here & approaching 3yrs of marriage (8yrs of being together in total) 3 perfect years of adopting two gawjus little cats, 14months of building my photography. Wow. That's just the tip of the iceberg.
I know many snub new yr resolutions, but I love them. In fact it's like a hobby of mine to set goals, try new things etc.. Some I never get around too, like seeing Orcas in the wild (pref now to photograph) or traveling to the Caribbean or doing a road trip around America.. It seems that sometimes these dreams are slightly out of reach for the time being. What isn't though is working towards being able to do these things, and having faith that what's ment to be will come. Really what matters is spending every day as of it were your last, because let's face it there is no promise of forever let alone tomorrow so taking enjoyment out of life, now is the aim.. Or to put it another way, maybe it's not the destination, it's actually the journey that matters. Like when things actually come, they come and go within a blink, but before then you can get stuck in on looking forwards, getting creative, choosing holiday clothes, whatever. You enjoy the process. So maybe my New Years resolution for 2015 is going to be, 'Enjoy the process.. Yes the long hours working, etc etc.. Because that's what matters now. So make it enjoyable. -mental note for when I've got a big load of ironing to do..- :) Happy 2015! YJ My first edited photo shoot of the year is of 'Lucy, & was at Dyserth Waterfall. A great portrait head shoot session & a-mazing location. The weather was perfect for us. |
